I majored in Dance Education at East Carolina University. I began drawing in an Intro to Drawing class and I began painting on paint and props crew in the School of Theatre and Dance. I received my Masters in Communication from Northwestern University and there I studied marketing, social media, and visual communications. I also studied acting and improvisation at The Second City and iO in Chicago.

I am a writer and marketer during the day, a performer by night, and in between I spend time outdoors, do indoor bouldering, take photographs, play a few instruments at a basic level, draw abstracts, and paint.

I love exploring movement and color as well as the feeling of nature. The relationship between meticulousness and messiness and what emotion looks like are essential to my endeavors.
